On January 10th we travelled to Midhurst for the Book-a-bus to visit Hepworths brewery tap in Pulborough. Laurie Dooley met Richard, Graham, Geoff and Barry for the 10:55 60 bus from Chi Bus Station to Midhurst; the Book-a-bus was there waiting, so we were off. The driver told us we'd have to pick somebody else up and go to Billingshurst en-route; and we dropped them right outside the Billi Tap, so an idea for another social. At Hepworth, the tap room was echoingly empty, but soon filled up with brewery tour people. They had Sussex Bitter, Prospect and Daws IPA on tap so we stayed. Martin, the Hepworths tour manager gave us an impromptu talk about the beers on offer, before he went off to do the brewery tour.
