On Saturday 28th February we embarked on an epic adventure. This was initially going to be a walk, but starting at The Horseguards Inn Tillington, then going to the Three Horseshoes at Lickfold, walking to Noah's Ark at Lurgashall, then walking to The Half Moon at Northchapel. I did the recce on the only dry day since the New Year and it was still too wet, so I changed it. Five of us went from Chi Bus Station to Midhurst where we picked up the Book-a-bus to The Three Horseshoes at Lickfold. We were not impressed with the beer here (1 for the Langham Best on NBSS) The Langham Hip-Hop was acceptable as was the TT Landlord. Pete Luff was too late to catch us earlier, so went direct to the next pub; Noah's Ark at Lurgashall. Tribute, GK IPA and Old Speckled Hen were on, but we didn't have much time to enjoy it as the Book-a-bus was due. We were off to the next; The Stonemason's Arms at Petworth, where TT Landlord and London Pride were being served. The previous Book-a-buses had been minibuses, but our last transport was a full blown single-decker, back to Midhurst where we caught the 60 back to Chi. Some hardy souls disembarked for the Greyhound where Buster's Best was served from the cellar when the handpump ran dry.
