Wednesday Welcome 12th August report

199 year anniversary of the death of Felpham resident William Blake.

Blake died 12 August 1827. He lived in the building now known as Blake’s Cottage (1800 – 1803) where he started to write the poem ‘Jerusalem’ later set to music by Parry.

In 1803 he was arrested for sedition in the doorway of The Fox in Felpham where I shall be at 18:03 All are welcome to join me.
